Giant bell placed in Panchakot

By Our Correspondent,Baglung, Feb. 16: Muktinath Mahaghanta, a gigantic b ell weighing 5,555 kilogram, has been placed in Panchakot, Baglung.The bell which was placed as part of the plan to develop Panchakot as a religious tourism site is going to be founded by performing religious activities on the occasion of Ananta Shree Brahmandiya Mahayagya on February 21.

The bell named Mahaghanta is made up of five metals – gold, silver, copper, brass and iron. It cost around Rs. 20 million and took eight years to make the bell. 

The bell has been placed near the foundation of the would-be constructed 108-feet-tall Bishwo Shanti Kalash.
