DDA urges to not sell Levocetirizine syrup

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 14: The Department of Drug Administration (DDA) has urged to not sell Levocetirizine syrup. A batch of Levocetirizine syrup produced by NIPPON Pharmaceuticals Private Ltd, Biratnagar, has been banned. 

Levocetirizine syrup of batch number (BLEN 001) has been banned.  The DDA had requested to ban on the sale as leakage was observed in packaging amid the leak testing medical solution testing by National Medicine Laboratory.

The DDA has directed NIPPON Pharmaceuticals Private Ltd to submit a detailed report of the leak-testing medical solution within 15 days.
