By Chitra Mijar, Sindhupalchowk, Feb 1: The Helambu Rural Municipality has made a public notice saying that vehicles that are more than 10 years old are banned from carrying tourists.
The Helambhu Rural Municipality has made a public notice, after the death of the two Bhutanese nationals in a vehicle accident who had gone to visit Gumba of Helambu area and tourist destinations.
It has been mentioned in a public notice by Rajubhai Shrestha, Chief Administrative Officer of the Helambu Rural Municipality that the vehicles more than 10 years have been banned to carry tourist saying that the old vehicles that are used to commute tourists are causing accidents, in the Helambu area which is significant for religious and tourist viewpoint.
The deceased Bhutanese nationals are given tribute and also have a wish for a speedy recovery to the injured.
Currently, there is an inflow of foreign nationals in Helambu.
