Gorkhapatra's sub-editor Pandit no more

Kathmandu, Jan 31: Gorkhapatra Daily's sub-editor Sheshkanta Pandit breathed his last this morning, He was 47.    

Suffering from cancer, Pandit died while undergoing treatment at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur at 3.00 am this morning, family sources said. 

He had been surviving intestinal cancer.    

Pandit, born in Bhanu municipality-12, Tanahun in Baisakh 2033 BS, is survived by the spouse with a son and a daughter.   

 
Pandit, also the general secretary of the Society of Education Journalists, had also been involved in teaching journalism and social studies as well as book writing. 

His last rites have been performed at Pashupati Aryaghat this morning, family sources informed.
