Upcoming budget in favor of social justice and socialism: PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Birgunj, Jan 29: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the government is concentrating on making a budget in collective participation of residents and all political parties. 

Addressing the 20th anniversary of the Press Centre, Nepal, organized in Birgunj, on Monday, PM Prachanda said that policies, programs and budget will favour social justice and socialism. 

PM Prachanda said, “Policies and programs and budget will be on the side of social justice and socialism. There is an attempt at revolution in this. I appeal to garner public support on this.”

Mentioning that there will be participation while promulgating policies and programs, and budget formulation, PM believed that ‘radical reform’ would be made by formulating a budget in favour of democracy. 

The suggestions of the local levels, provincial government and ministries will be taken into account and the government will move forward in a new way. 

Mentioning that the government plans to dissolve the trend of accumulating new projects after projects without completing old projects, PM Prachanda said that the government is moving forward by adding only important projects. 

Saying that a strong steps have been taken against corruption and loan sharks, the PM said that the government has attempted to include informal sectors, self-employment and people flying out to foreign countries
