NA election: ruling alliance wins 18 seats, UML secures one

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 25: Ruling alliance has secured victory in 18 seats whereas the main opposition CPN (UML) has won only in a seat in the National Assembly elections held for 19 seats today.

The UML snatched a victory in a seat in Koshi province while the ruling alliance made a clean sweep in all other six provinces.

Out of 19 seats, NC got 10, CPN (Maoist Center) won 5, CPN (Unified Socialist) secured 2, Janata Samajwadi Party got one seat, all from ruling alliance while, the main opposition CPN UML won one seat.
