Sitaula of NC, Koirala of UML elected NA members from Koshi

By Sasidhar Parajuli, Biratnagar, Jan 25: The ruling alliance's candidate from Nepali Congress Krishna Prasad Sitaula has been elected as a member of the National Assembly (NA).

The ruling alliance's candidate from Koshi Province, Sitaula, got 5,292 vote weightage defeating his competitor and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)  and CPN (UML) alliance's candidate Udhav Paudel who got 4,562 votes. 

Similarly, the CPN (UML) candidate Rukmani Koirala has been elected as a member of the National Assembly (NA).

CPN (UML) and  Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) alliance's candidate from Koshi Province, Koirala got 5,086 vote weightage defeating her competitor and ruling alliance's candidate Champa Devi Karki from CPN (Maoist Center).
