By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Jan.13: As many as 12 people who got injured in a fatal Dang bus accident on Friday night are receiving treatment at the Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital (NGMC), Kohalpur.

Of the 13 people who were brought severely injured, one patient, Mohammad Javed from Dunduwa, Banke, has returned home in good health following the treatment. With this, now 12 remaining injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital. 

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Area Police Office, Kohalpur, Sundar Tiwari, two injured, 45-year-old Tilak Prasad Upadhaya from Kalikot and 20-year-old Arvaj Nau from Kalikot are critical. 

According to the Police, those who are receiving treatment at the NGMC are in normal health condition. They are identified as Ashutosh Gautam, aged 24 and 20-year-old Niranjan Kori from Nepalgunj, 22-year-old Rajiv Tharu from Bardiya, 19-year-old Nafich Khan from Banke, 29-year-old Chhoti Siloura from India, Dasharath BK, aged 20, from Banke, 31-year-old Kul Bahadur Gosain from Rapti Sonari, Banke, 35-year-old Lila Oli from Nepalgunj, 21-year-old Shankar Tharu and Rawal Kumar Yadav from Banke. The health condition of the injured is normal. 

The bus with the registration number (3001 Kha 2912) went out of control and veered off 25 meters down the road to Rapti River on Friday at 10:30 PM causing a fatal accident. A total of 32 people were passengers on the bus, 12 people lost their lives, and 13 people were injured. Of the 13 people, two are in critical health condition.
