Visiting Irish upper house Chair calls on NA Chair Timilsina
Kathmandu, Jan 8: Visiting Chairperson of the Seanad Éireann, the Upper House of Ireland Jerry Buttimer called on National Assembly Chair, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, at the latter's office in Singha Durbar today.
Buttimer is on a five-day official visit to Nepal. During the meeting, Chairperson Timilsina requested for Ireland's support in lifting the EU ban on Nepali airlines and increasing scholarships for Nepali students in Ireland.
On the occasion, Chairperson Buttimer assured of initiating dialogue and discussion on lifting the ban on Nepali airlines in Europe, according to Chair Timilsina's secretariat. (RSS)
