Kathmandu, Jan 5: Chairperson of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, left for Malaysia on Thursday night.
He went to Malaysia at the
invitation of RPP affiliated Overseas Nepali Unity Society, Malaysia, to
address its gathering, said RPP Spokesperson and Publicity Department Chief,
Mohan Kumar Shrestha.
Chair Lingden is scheduled to hold
meetings, discussion and interactions with Nepali communities in Malaysia
during the visit.
Similarly, Chair Lingden would
address the gathering of Kiranti community to be organised by Kirant Yakthung
Chumlung on January 6 as well as the gathering of Overseas Nepali Unity Society
to be organised at Hotel Grand Continental on January 7.
Likewise, the RPP Chair would meet
with the stakeholders including different overseas Nepali organisations and
Nepali Ambassador to Malaysia, and enquire about the problems of Nepali workers
and the ongoing initiatives taken to resolve them, added Shrestha.
Before going to Malaysia, Chair
Lingden gave party's vice-chair Buddhiman Tamang the responsibility of acting
Chairperson of the party. He would return home on January 9. (RSS)
