Kathmandu, Jan 4: Visiting Indian External Affairs Minister Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar paid a courtesy call on Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday.
Issues relating to bilateral interest were discussed during the meeting, according to NC party office. Chief Secretary of NC party office, Krishna Prasad Paudel, informed Rastriya Samachar Samiti that issues as strengthening two-country relations and promoting Indian assistance to Nepal's development featured in the meeting.
Earlier, the visiting Indian minister had courtesy calls with President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
Jaishankar had come to Nepal to attend the Nepal-India joint commission meeting on Thursday itself.
He is returning home tomorrow. (RSS)
