Journalist Chaudhary honors with Satyanarayan Bahadur Press Freedom Fighter Award

Kathmandu, Dec 28: Lucky Chaudhary has been lauded with late Satyanarayan Bahadur Shrestha press freedom fighter award-2080. 

The decision to honor him was decided in the meeting of National Forum of Newar Journalists (Newa: Patrakar Rastriya Dabu) on Wednesday. 

 He is the first person to be honored with this award for the first time after the establishment of the award.

Chairperson of Dabu Nripendralal Shrestha informed that the award will get declared on the birthday of Shrestha each year.

He added that this years’ award ceremony will be held on Friday on the occasion of 108 birthday of late Shrestha.

Shrestha led to organiz Nepali journalist by establishing Nepal Journalist Federation (Nepal Patrakar Sang) on 22 April 1951.

Journalist Chaudhary has been continuously contributing for publishing Shresthas’ writing and composition.

Journalist Chaudhary is sub-editor of gorkhapatradaily. He joined Gorkhapatradaily since 10 February 2010. He is also senior vice-Chairperson of Nepal Federation of indigenous Nationalities.
