Don't be afraid to write for betterment of people: DPM Khadka

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov.3: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Purna Bahadur Khadka said that no one should be afraid to write to make decisions for the benefit and progress of the country and its people. 

In the quarterly review held at the Ministry for Defence on Friday, DPM Khadka said that any decision-making officials should not be afraid to use a pen if decisions are made while keeping the interests of people and the progress of the country in mind anytime one uses the pen. 

DPM directed his subordinates to conduct every work with honesty, selflessly and fearlessly.  

There will be no compromise in completing the Terai-Madesh fast track as it is a matter of prestige for the Nepali Army and Nepali people. 

He pointed out that if anyone involved, from officials to contractors, in the project is found delaying it under any pretext then stern action will be taken. 

He said, “There is be no compromise on time and quality as mentioned on fast track work, the government is ready to solve any problem if the hindrance is observed anywhere.”
