By Liladhar Oli, Ghorahi, Nov.2: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma, said that the state highly respects the contribution of the martyrs.
While meeting a martyr’s family in Jitpur, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-11, Minister Sharma said that the state holds respect not only for martyrs but to those who got injured and amputated while contributing to a change.
The country has shown its respect to martyrs who breathed their last amid armed struggle and revolution by publishing their name list in a gazette.
Minister Sharma said, “The country has honored the martyrs, who lost their lives in armed struggle and revolution, fighting for the benefit, democracy and progressive change of the country, by publishing their names in the gazette. If some names are missed out, then they will be included in the coming days.”
She said that including the names of martyrs for the first time in the gazette and declaring Falgun 1 as People’s War Day is a real tribute to martyrs.
Saying that the government is working to enlist those names that were missed out, she said, “War victims will get justice following the consent of all parties.”
The family of the Martyrs had requested Minister Sharma to work on solving the road and drinking water issues of the village.
Minister Sharma also inaugurated a pipeline of drinking water in Sarra, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-16.
