Ward office inaugurated on Constitution Day

By Our Correspondent,Sarlahi, Sept. 21: On the occasion of the 8th Constitution Day, Hari Prasad Upreti, former minister and federal lawmaker elected from Sarlahi, inaugurated the new ward office building of Ward No. 8 in Harion Municipality on Wednesday.

The ward office, which previously operated from the Narayan Upreti Memorial Academy building, has now been shifted to its new building in the old market area of Harion. 

Ward chair Prajwol Dhungana informed that the building was constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.2 million.

He said that the service users would now pay only governmental fees at the office. 

Additionally, the ward office has made arrangements for free photocopy and  application writing services to assist the poor and illiterate citizens. 

On the occasion, officials of the School Management Committee, Community Reform Committee and Community Forest Group were honoured.
