Lalitpur, July 20: Bagmati Pradesh government spokesperson Ganga Narayan Shrestha has urged the federal goverment to include province and local in cyber security policy.
During the event of publication of a book “Cyber Security” publised by Communication Registrar Office on wednesday, minister Shrestha said that it is essential to presence of provincial communication minister, representatives of rural confederation, federation of municipality is essential in the purposed directive committee in order to implement strategy, policy and law.
He said that representation of secretary of provincial communication ministry, representation of chief of agency of communication of province in the national cyber security strategy action group in the cyber security cordination and facilitation committe is essential.
He said that it will help in coordination among federation, province and local level.
Communication Registrar Rawati Sapkota informed that this book is prepared to help overcoming challenges and providing solution for security of computer, mobile phone, internet and social media.
Chirman of Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) Purushottm Khanal, member of NTA Krishna Pokhrel, former chairman of Federation of Nepali Jouranlists Tara Nath Dahal, chairman of Press Centre Bishnu Saplkota said that the will be useful for cyber security.
They viewed that this publication will help to consolidate provincial structure.
The book has presented the concept and instrument of security including anti-virus, Cloud Anti virus, security firewall, encryption and decryption, digital signature, digital forensics.
The book has included the history of cyber law, international cyber law, cyber space and privacy, digital property and law related to social media, code of conduct and morality.
