Parastree team promoting the film in Mumbai

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 27: Suraj Pandey, in his directorial debut, is currently engaged in extensive promotion of his film ‘Parastree’.

The production team, led by producer Sharmila Pandey and director Suraj Pandey, along with a group of actors, is actively promoting the film in Mumbai and targeting the Nepali community in India. During a programme in Mumbai on Sunday, the United Nepali Federation of Mumbai India honoured and felicitated the film team. 

Additionally, the production team held a press conference in Mumbai on the same day, where they discussed the movie’s plot and its purpose of being showcased in India.

Niraj Kandel served as the cinematographer for the film, which revolves around the story of a family and the societal crises triggered by extra-marital relationships.

Artistes including Koshish Chhetri, Shilpa Maskey, Gaurav Bista, Geet Bistà, Alisha Chhetri, Aashant Sharma, Rambabu Regmi, Saraswati Adhikari, Jhaken BC, Arpit Neupane have done the film.  

Sharmila Pandey and Dipendra K Khanal have collaborated in producing the film, with Khanal also contributing as a writer.
