Ashoj 2 to be marked as National Education day

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 23: The meeting of the Council
of Ministers has made a decision to celebrate Ashoj 2 as the National Education
Day.
While making public the decision of the Council of Ministers,
Rekha Sharma, Minister for Communication and Information Technology said
that it has been decided to celebrate the National Education Day every year on
Ashoj 2. It was proposed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
She said that it has been decided to approve concessional
loan assistance of 120 million dollars from World Bank for the transformation
of the education sector. It was proposed by the Ministry of Finance.
