Cabinet Expansion: Birendra Prasad Mahato gets Forest Ministry

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expanded the cabinet.
On Tuesday, President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed Birendra Prasad Mahato of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal as the Minister for Forest and Environment on the recommendation of PM Prachanda. Likewise, Pramila Kumari has been appointed as the State Minister for Education, Science, and Technology.
President Paudel appointed a minister and state minister on the recommendation of Prime Minister Prachanda as per Article 76 (9) of the constitution.
