35,000 tonnes Urea fertilizers entering via Tatopani

By Chitra Mijar, Sindhupalchowk, May 20: Uriya fertilizer has started to enter Nepal from the northern border of Tatopani.

Silk Market is entering 35,000 tons of fertilizers in the Tatopani custom office in two phases, 25,000 tonnes and 10,000 tonnes respectively.

3,500 tonnes out of the 35,000 tonnes of fertilisers have been received by the Agriculture Material Company Limited. 

Chief Operating Officer of the Silk Transport Damodar Satyal informed that 7100 tonnes of fertilizer are coming to Tatopani customs. It has been said that for the fast testing and inspection of the fertilizer, the request has been made to Agriculture Material Company Limited.

As for the storage capacity of the Tatopani, the custom is only 7500 tonnes of remaining fertilizers have been stored at the Sigatse. Within a few days, Sigatse's fertilizer will enter Tatopani.
