Govt to study potential for hydrogen production, use

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 19: The government will conduct study on potential of production and use of hydrogen in the country.

President Ram Chandra Paudel said so while presenting the government's policies and programmes in the joint meeting of the House of Representative (HoR) and the National Assembly today.

Private sector will be encouraged for green energy production while access to energy of the people will be ensured.

Budhigandaki Hydropower project will be moved forward with priority, said President Paudel while reading out the government policy and programme for upcoming fiscal year 2023/024.

Underground electricity distribution cables will laid in major cities across the country.
