Chemical fertiliser to be made available in time

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 19: The government has vowed to provide chemical fertilizer in time.

President Ram Chandra Paudel said so while presenting the government's policies and programmes in the joint meeting of the House of Representative (HoR) and the National Assembly today.

Base of agricultural insurance will also be expanded while division of land will be discouraged to increase productivity.

Organic agro-products will be encouraged and arrangements will be made for production of organic fertilisers at the ward levels.

Subsidy will be increased in the electricity charge for irrigation, said President Paudel while presenting the government's policies and programmes for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2023/024.
