May 17: 34 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been
confirmed on Wednesday while 23 people recovered from the disease.
In
431 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24
hours, 12 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of
Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Wednesday. Whereas, 22
positive cases were found in 736 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.
Currently,
there are 89 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
So
far, 12,031 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
