Two killed by falling from tractor, two injured in Panchthar

By Radha Luitel, Phidim, May 17: Two girls died after falling from the tractor in Bharpa, Hilihang Rural Municipality, Panchthar along Mechi Highway.

Diwas Kunwar, Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Panchthar, said that the deceased has been identified as Pujana Subedi, aged 13, and Ganga Subedi, aged nine, daughters of Kamal Subedi from Hilihang Rural Municipality-7, Panchthar district.

Both the sisters, who were going to school in a tractor, died on Wednesday morning, while, the other two passengers sustained injuries.

Inspector Kunwar informed that the injured are undergoing treatment at Panchthar District Hospital, and the driver of the tractor is at large.

He said that further details of the accident are yet to come.
