Public transport fare decreased
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 17: The Department of Transport Management has reduced the fare of public transport.
Soon after the prices of diesel and kerosene reduced by Rs 10 per liter each by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) yesterday, the transportation department slashed downed the fare of passenger and good carrier vehicles.
The reduced fare will be implemented from today.
The department press release stated that fare of public vehicles reduced by 3.20 per cent, fare of good-carrier vehicles operating in hilly road reduced by 4.19 per cent and good-carrier operating in Terai road by 4.65.
