Arrest warrant issued against former NC lawmaker Sherpa

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 14: Arrest warrant has been issued against Nepali Congress leader of Ramechhap and former lawmaker Angtawa Sherpa.

The Kathmandu district court issued the arrest warrant against Sherpa, according to the Kathmandu district police office.

Sherpa has been blamed for receiving amount from different persons pledging them to send to the USA in the cover of Bhutanese refugees and when this scam came to light, he went to hold talks with Sanu Bhandari who is in custody for his involvement in the scam. (translated from RSS Nepali)
