Kathmandu, May 10 : Today's session of the House of Representatives (HoR) was adjourned for 15 minutes, owing to the protest of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).
With the commencement of the meeting, RPP
Chair Rajendra Lingden demanded time for putting his opinion, but his request
was not entertained Speaker Devraj Ghimire, prompting the party lawmakers to
picket a rostrum. Following the protest, the Speaker announced the postponement
of the session by 15 minutes.
The RPP said it sought time in the session to speak against corruption issues. (RSS)
