51 new cases, one death in 24 hours

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 29: 51 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Saturday while 35 people recovered from the disease.

In 205 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 22 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday. Whereas, 29 positive cases were found in 1,033 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours. 

Currently, there are 361 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

One more death has been reported in the last 24 hours.

So far, 12,030 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
