Nepal set 282-run target for Kuwait

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 29: Nepal scored 281 runs losing nine wickets from their stipulated 42 overs against Kuwait during their ACC Men's Premier Cup semi-final match at Kirtipur on Saturday.

Batting first Nepal set the target of 282 to Kuwait with the help of two half-centuries hit by Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla respectively. 

Paudel hit 94 whereas Malla scored 57 runs. Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel scored 43 runs.

From the Kuwait side, bowlers Mohammed Aslam and Adnan Idrees took 3 wickets each. 

The rain-affected match was reduced to 42 overs from the total 50 overs.
