By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 29: Where can one find a beautiful and peaceful place in the smoky, dusty, and noisy Kathmandu? This is the expression that comes to mind when one is roaming around the capital, however, there are many such peaceful and open places, called parks. But, these parks are not well-managed.

It is unfortunate for the locals to not have any well-managed parks, a place that is open and peaceful, in a capital that is full of crowds.  The importance of the open place has increased after the deadly earthquake of 2015. Private and public sectors are also getting involved in protecting and managing open parks.

The culture of visiting parks for recreation has increased lately among locals of Kathmandu.
