103 new cases in 24 hours, active cases stand at 375

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 28: 103 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Friday while 53 people recovered from the disease.

In 627 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 50 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Friday. Whereas, 53 positive cases were found in 1,298 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours. 

Currently, there are 375 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, 12,029 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
