Lamichhane leading in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality,

By Shaligram Nepal, Chitwan, April 24: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairperson of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party is leading with a vast gap in the vote counting in six wards of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality.

Lamichhane has secured 2,602 votes against his nearest rival Ram Prasad Neupane of CPN (UML), who has achieved 2,062 votes. While, another candidate, Jit Narayan Shrestha of Nepal Congress has garnered 1,593 votes.

Vote counting of the ward-7 is remaining of the total seven wards of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality.

According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the counting of votes of Kalika municipality will proceed following the conclusion of vote counting of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, which began at 2 PM on Monday.
