DPM Shrestha assumes office as Home Minister

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 31: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha has assumed his office today.

DPM Shrestha who has been Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport got the new responsibility today as the Home Minister.

While assuming his office as Home Minister, DPM Shrestha said the post was just a name for responsibility and vowed that he will not tolerate any form of corruption.

"I don't take alcoholic and other toxic drinks nor do I take tobacco items. These are, I think, my good habits. I have one more good habit, I don’t take bribes nor do I tolerate anyone engaged in this," said DPM Shrestha while assuming his office.

He viewed hierarchies are just for work performance and coordination as per the assigned duties.
