Chief Administrative Officer arrested with Rs 50 thousand bribery

By Chhabilal Pandey, Butwal, March 30: Office of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Butwal has arrested three people including the chief administrative officer of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality, Butwal with bribe money.

Ram Krishna Adhikari, Spokesperson of the Office of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Butwal said that chief administrative officer, Aanantapani Marasini, ward chair-7, Bhim Bahadur Yadav, and middleman Binod Bhar were taken into custody while taking Rs 50 thousand bribed money at the Chamena house of the rural municipality office.

Spokesperson Adhikari said that they were detained with bribe money based on the complaint that they have demanded a bribe in connection with the extraction of river products.

According to the Office of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Butwal, the three arrested people have been detained and further investigation is underway.
