By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 29: An agreement in principle has been
forged among the ruling parties about the expansion of the Council of
Ministers.
Rajendra Prasad Shrestha, a
leader of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), said that the meeting of the ruling parties
held today at Baluwatar made the agreement to expand the Cabinet.
"Suggestions on the
minimum common programme were collected today, and we also agreed in principle
with regard to the expansion of the Cabinet," he said.
He said they agreed to allocate
eight ministries to Nepali Congress, five to CPN (Maoist Center), two each to JSP and CPN (US) and one
each to others included in the ruling parties.
Top leaders will make final
decision on this, Shrestha said.
