By Kapil Gyawali, Siddharthanagar, Mar. 26: Nepali Congress Lumbini's Parliamentary Party Leader Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary staked claim to be the Chief Minister of the Lumbini Province with the consent of the other parties.
Chaudhary has said that claim has been submitted before Province Chief Amik Sherchan.
Earlier today, Ministers from CPN (Maoist Centre) resigned en masse from their posts in Lumbini Provincial Government.
Maoist Centre Chair of Lumbini Province, Sudarshan Baral informed that three ministers from CPN (MC) who joined UML led government had resigned from their posts en masse.
Jokh Bahadur Mahara, Indra Jit Chaudhary and Krishna KC resigned en masse.
With the CPN (MC) ministers' resignation after the Maoist centre's withdrawal of support, the Lumbini Provincial government lost its majority.
Though the CM Giri-led government lost its majority, CM Lila Giri is yet to be resigned fro his post.
