Bagmati CM Jamkattel secures confidence vote

By Ram Mani Dahal, Hetauda, Mar. 24: Bagmati Province Chief Minister SHalikram Jamkattel has secured vote of confidence from the provincial assembly today.

CM Jamkattel got 67 votes in favour whereas 17 votes were cast against his proposal of vote of confidence. Seven PA members stood neutral.

Leader of CPN (Maoist Center) parliamentary party in the Bagmati PA, Jamkattel got the votes from Nepali Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist) and Hamro Nepali Party in addition to his own party Maoist Center while CPN (UML) and Nepal Workers and Peasants' Party voted against him. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party stood neutral.
