NRNA has crucial role in tourism development, President says

Kathmandu, March 17: President Ram Chandra Poudel has said that role of the Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) was vital in spreading Nepal's literary, cultural, and natural diversities to the world and promoting Nepal's tourism development. 

   
During a meeting with the NRNA representatives at the Office of the President on Friday, President Poudel urged the NRNA representatives to contribute to the grand project being developed at Chundiramgha, the birthplace of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, with the purpose of emotionally promoting national unity.  

  
Saying that he is informed about the activities and campaigns of the NRNs, the President pledged to make positive initiatives to address the issues raised by the NRNA.    


NRNA's executive chairperson Rabina Thapa, chairperson Kul Acharya, founding chairperson Dr. Upendra Mahato, and others were present at the meeting. (RSS)
