Chance of rain with thunder and lightning likely today
Kathmandu, March 14 : There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the hilly region in the country due to the effect of the westerly winds today.
According to Barun Paudel, a
meteorologist at the Weather Forecast Division of the Department of Hydrology
and Meteorology, light rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely in some
places of Tarai belt of Lumbini Province this afternoon.
There is a possibility of light
rainfall in some parts of the hilly region in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki
provinces tonight, Paudel said. At present, the impact of westerly wind is
normal in the country. (RSS)
