Kathmandu, March 13: Member of Parliament Pramila Kumari Yadav has withdrawn her candidacy for the post of Vice President. She had filed her candidacy for Vice President on behalf of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal.
She took back her candidacy in support of MP Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav's candidacy for the post of Vice President.
Pramila has through a press release urged all to back and extend support to Ram Sahay Yadav, describing him as a leader with a clean image and espousing high thinking, who has also made a long struggle and dedication.
On March 9, a meeting of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal's executive committee decided to field Ram Sahay Yadav, the leader of its parliamentary party, as the Vice President candidate. (RSS)
