By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 12: Nepal registered a huge win of 177 runs against (United Arab Emirates) on Sunday at the TU International Cricket Stadium, Kirtipur under the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2.
Batting first Nepal had set a target of 249 runs for UAE. In response, UAE became all-out in 22.5 overs by scoring just 71 runs.
With this victory, Nepal retained ODI (One Day International) status.
On the victory of Nepal, bowler Lalit Rajbanshi took 5 wickets by giving just 20 runs with 2 maiden overs in 7.5 overs.
Similarly, Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets whereas bowlers Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh Airee and Gulsan Jha took a single wicket each.
