Writ registered against JSP's vice presidential candidate Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 11: A writ petition has been filed against Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav from Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) who registered his candidacy for Vice- presidential election. 

Mahesh Bartaula, a Member of Parliament from CPN (UML) filed a writ petition on Saturday at the President and Vice-President Election office at the federal parliament building, New Baneshwor. 

Bartaula filed a petition saying that the male gender has already been elected as the President, therefore, the same gender cannot fill in Vice- Presidencial post. 

Election Commission Office informed that further investigation on the petition will be made by 12 noon on Sunday.
