NC President's Holi greetings

Kathmandu, March 6: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has extended best wishes to all Nepali brothers and sisters at home and abroad on the occasion of the Holi Festival today.

Giving a message of best wishes, President Deuba reminded that the Holi Festival is a festival of colours and observed with fanfare across the country. It is the symbol of victory of good over evil. 

The Nepali society observes the festival with in a familial and social harmony and unity every year, he said, adding that it is both a religious and cultural festival.

He wished the Holi Festival, observed on the onset of the Spring Season, inspired all for contributing to mutual unity and harmony, thereby creating peace, happiness and prosperity.  (RSS)
