TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 5: Prime Minister and
Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has urged
all the splinter parties of the Maoists to come together.
"Time has come for us, all the Maoist parties,
to get unified. I have been making such appeals, do it again," PM
Prachanda said addressing an interaction on 'Contribution of the Martyrs of
People's War and the fighters made to disappear: Responsibility of the
leadership' organized today by Posterity of the Martyrs and Fighters made to Disappear.
The Maoist movement came as a big river current. Following
the peace process, this current divided into different section taking different
routes. Now, time has come again for those routes to converge and make a
confluence to move toward the sea, said PM Prachanda, also the Maoist
Center Chairman.
He appealed to different splinter Maoist parties including
those led by Mohan Baidhya Kiran, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, Netra Bikram Chand
Biplov and Dharmendra Bastola, who were also present in the programme, to come
for unity by taking each other's experiences as their own.
"We all have got different experiences by
leading different parties after splitting from the main mother party. I have my
own experiences and you all have yours. Let's share and synthesize experiences
and take them as our own. I take your experiences, bitter or sweet, as mine and
you take mine as yours," said PM Prachanda.
Once we get unified, no force can challenge us, said
the PM.
PM Prachanda observed that he was fighting against
all national and international pressures and encirclements as the commander of
the People's War. "I have also seen you all also fighting against such
encirclements. We have been facing challenges in our own way. But, now it is
time we face challenges getting together, and if we do it, we will be far
stronger. Getting unified is true respect to the martyrs and disappeared
fighters."
PM Prachanda shared that he was successful to make
decision to publish martyrs of the People's War in the national gazette only in
this third term as the PM.
