Changes possible due to martyrs' sacrifice: Leader Gurung

By Arjun Kafle, Syangja, Mar. 5: General Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Centre)  Dev Prasad Gurung has said that the present changes became possible due to the sacrifice of martyrs. 

Unveiling People War martyr Prithvi Gautam's statue and inaugurating on Sunday the gate at Latrepipal, Putali Bazaar Municipality-3 as part of martyr week, Latrepipal, leader Gurung said that pro-republic forces should be united to fulfil the dream of the martyrs. 

"Though the republican system is in practice, the rights of Dalits, indigenous, Muslims and minorities are yet to be secured," he said, "If the objectives of peoples' war were fulfilled, all people would get their rights."
