The project, which began in 2015, will result in a 600-bed hospital and aims to provide quality and cost-effective health services.

Pujara said that the construction of the college was started in 13 packages, seven packages have been completed so far and the remaining work will be completed in the current fiscal year. Among the 41 modern buildings

He said the proposed dry port in Dodhara-Chadani Municipality in Kanchanpur district would be constructed as per the tri-national strategy.

The PM said the project is expected to contribute to the economic development of the Sudurpaschim Province in particular and the entire nation in general. “The project is the top priority of the government.”

PM Prachanda currently is on his visit to Sudurpaschim province as part of his inspection of projects here.

"The dry port will be constructed as per the tri-national strategy. We are seeking to take advantage of development activities of India and China. The project will help advance the strategy," he said.

The project, which features prominently in the government's priorities, is expected to benefit people mostly in Nepal, India and China, according to him.

He also shared his happiness that the government of India in the memorandum of understanding signed between Nepal and India has promised to complete the project in three years.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister also inspected a cemented bridge along the four-lane road along the Mahakali River.
