President Bhandari addressing parliamentary joint meeting

 Kathmandu, Feb 10 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari is addressing the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament at New Baneshwor-based Parliament Building.     

Prior to this, President Bhandari was welcomed by Speaker Devraj Ghimire and Chairperson of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina on the parliament building premises.     

On the occasion, a contingent of the Nepali Army offered a guard of honour to the President.     

Before the meeting began, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' presented a copy of the contents for an address to the President.     

Present on the occasion are Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, PM Prachanda, acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki and high ranking officials including chief of constitutional bodies. (RSS)
