By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 29: Press Center,
Nepal organized different programmes across the country to mark its 19th
Establishment Day.
The PCN took out a morning procession from Maitighar
Mandal to Babarmahal where the rally assembled into a meeting to mark the
founding day.
Addressing the corner meeting, Maheshwar Dahal, former
Chair and in-charge of the PCN, highlighted the importance of PCN in raising
people's voices and striving for pro-people journalism.
He viewed that journalists should give proper space
and time to foreground the issues of the poor and the downtrodden so that
journalism becomes the voice of the voiceless in true sense.
Bishnu Sapkota Jugal, PCN Chairman, said that the PCN has been standing for the welfare and benefit of country and the people by means of journalism and urged the PCN members to use their profession to give voice to the voiceless.
