Acharya who attempted self-immolation dies
Kathmandu, Jan 25 : Prem Prasad Acharya, 37, of
Suryodaya municipality in Ilam, who attempted self-immolation before the
federal parliament building on Tuesday afternoon has died.
He passed away this morning while
undergoing treatment at the Kirtipur-based Burn Hospital.
According to Dr Kiran Nakarmi of
the Hospital, almost 80 percent of the body parts of Acharya was burnt. Acharya
with critical burn injuries was rushed to the Kirtipur Hospital for treatment
immediately after the incident. (RSS)
