Karnali Speaker Gurung takes oath of office
Surkhet, Jan 15: Newly elected Speaker of Karnali Province, Nanda Gurung, took oath of office and secrecy today.
Karnali Province Chief Tilak Pariyar administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected Speaker Gurung.
The first session of the Provincial Assembly today had elected Speaker Gurung by a majority. CPN-UML leader Gurung was a common candidate of the ruling coalition and was elected as a Provincial Assembly member through the proportional representation (PR) system from Surkhet. (RSS)
